It's everywhere, even in our bodies, but we often fail to recognize how incredible water truly is. It hydrates, feeds, renews, destroys and satiates. It even records our thoughts, feelings and emotions. Next time you come across some water, thank it for being generally amazing...the awesome thing, it'll hear you and record your intention.
All animals are extraordinary in their own way, but dolphins are particularly enigmatic and fascinating. Not only have they been known to do everything from save people (or seals) who drift out to sea, to solving complex ethical and mathematical problems but they have long been a symbol of spirituality and hope. Appearing to people at spiritually significant junctures or healing terminal diseases through their sound frequencies. These things are more than just rubbery mammal fish...take a closer look next time you come across one. Warning the above video is super cute.
Some people love them, other people, not so much. Whatever your feelings about hugs they can certainly provide a boost of energy and a sense of well-being. Research has shown that a genuine hug from a loved one can help your body to release endorphins thus lowering stress chemicals (cortisol) in the body. Indian Perfect Master Ammachi, known as "the hugging saint", loves hugs so much she tours around the world hugging people for free, she's hugged over 32 million people. What's your excuse?
Most of us have them. We look at our eyes or other people's eyes everyday. Even blind people recognize when someone is looking at them. The eyes truly are the window of the soul but most of us don't take the time to understand what they're telling us. You can tell a lot about someone just by traveling in their eyes, from how healthy they are, to their level of consciousness. Next time you're talking to someone look into their eyes and see what information you can glean.
We are run by it yet we don't realize that the amazing thing about time is that it doesn't really exist (in a literal sense). Sure, there's lineal time that apparently tells us time is passing: we age, the sun rises and sets, seasons change, but time is a mental construction. Time is also relative and psychics tells us it's in fact multi-dimensional and that the past, future and present are all happening simultaneously. Dying people often report reviewing every aspect of their lives in mere seconds, which is further evidence for the relativity of time.
They are the silent watchers. They can weather extreme conditions and live for thousands and thousands of years if undisturbed. Many indigenous cultures believe that trees are meditating spirits or souls and that each area has a masculine and feminine tree guardian that controls the surrounding land and creatures within it. Trees are fascinating hosts for complex eco systems that go relatively unnoticed by the naked eye. See if you can locate your neighborhoods tree guardian and thank it. If that's too far for you, then just appreciate the majesty and resilience of the first tree you see.
7. The Breath
We really take this one for granted but the breath really is the expression of existence itself. Without it we die. Speed or up, you get energy, slow it down you relax. Whatever the case our breath is merely a microcosmic expression of the planet's breath...yes, the earth appears to breath according to some studies that chart the expulsion of planetary gasses, which mimic the in/out breath rhythym. We really are a mini version of the totality, and this is evidenced through the simple act of breathing.
8. The Pineal Gland
We really have no idea what it's for. It's located toward the middle of the skull between the eyes. It has long been revered as the seat of the third eye and it actually kind of functions like an eye in that it responds to light and dark much like an eye would. It releases some interesting chemicals into our blood stream like DMT which have been correlated to intense, vivid spiritual and psychic phenomena. For more about the pineal gland check out the video.
9. Quartz Crystal
Quartz is a fairly common geo-crystalline compound that's found throughout the earth. Hippies and new agers recognize its healing and restorative properties, and rightfully so. Quartz is known as nature's tape recorder. Quartz, much like water, retains information for long periods of time which is why it is used in computer storage technology. Wear a quartz crystal next time you're feeling crummy to absorb the negative or toxic energy, then take it off and rinse the crystal in a salt water solution.
Sound, or rather the vibrations of sound, is all around us. Even people with hearing impairments recognize the importance of sound vibration. Sound carries frequencies. Words, music, or the hum of an air conditioner all communicate messages to the human energy system. Sound healing has been shown to be effective in improving cancer symptoms and PTSD because playing the right frequency can encourage healing cells in the body. Many people who have experienced out of body experiences (OBEs) or near death experiences (NDEs) have reported that the afterlife they perceived was filled with beautiful sounds. In the Hindu tradition it is the "Om" sound which started creation. In the Christian tradition it is said that in the beginning there was the word, and the word was God. Our bodies are made up of various vibrational frequencies (sounds) and we are often attracted to certain music because there are certain frequencies we are missing in our bodies. So next time you turn your Spotify radio on take note of the intention behind the music as that will influence the frequency that you are taking in to your body. Good in, good out. Garbage in, garbage out. If you want to put some good in listen to the above clip as the music has a high vibrational frequency.
